I'd post a picture if I'd remembered to bring the camera with us on Saturday, but I forgot. We made the drive up to Sequim to the Olympic Game Farm. That was awesome!!! We saw all sorts of animals and we didn't indulge in feeding any of them this time, but will remember to bring lots of bread for the next time. The yaks, llamas, and bison come right up to your car and seem to almost expect a slice of bread to get past them. We got to see a llama giving birth during our drive through and a few other baby animals. Marisa loved seeing the peacocks most of all and the bunnies that were all over the place and not in their cages.
On our way home we ate a late, late lunch at this little hole in the wall burger joint called Fat Smitty's. It is just on the highway, there's no town to go with this little place and they are famous for their burgers. It looks like a run down old house that's been turned in to a restauraunt (dive, whatever). The walls and ceiling are covered in one dollar bills written on and cut up to document people's meals there at Fat Smitty's. There's also M and M paraphanelia all over the place as well. Marisa loved looking at all of it.Josh's burger was so large he had to squish it down and once he let go of it he had to cut it up and eat it that way. Marisa and I enjoyed grilled cheese and a BLT. When you pay they give you tootsie pops, now that is every kid's dream and made Marisa's already special day the best especially since she chose the chocolate one that her dad wanted. :) Needless to say we got home and didn't eat dinner, but we can't wait to go back to the Game Farm and Fat Smitty's for some more good family time.
We'll post pictures of Jensen and Marisa soon and I will remember my camera at our next Game Farm visit. If you haven't been, check it out online and go, it was a cheap date!
:) Sounds like a fun day!
