Josh and Marisa surprised me with 3 tomato plants for my birthday this year. Marisa even helped plant them in their new homes on our deck. I hope it is a hot summer so we can go tomato picking! Marisa really like digging in the dirt so I hope she enjoys all the weeding we will be doing just as soon as I can bend down to the ground in the gardens! She is such a great helper!
Hopefully we'll have plenty of tomatoes to share and make salsa with this summer. Josh made sure to grab some "grape tomatoes" for Marisa too. She loves to pick them straight from the plant and pop them in her mouth.
