Hunter Farms Pumpkin Patch 2009
Marisa found this hat sitting on the hay at the maze and thought she'd take it for a spin.
We found the perfect pumpkin, but no this isn't it...too small.

Making a mad dash out of the hay maze.
We took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and found 3 perfect pumpkins. One for putting in Josh's home brew, one for a jack-o-lantern and one for decoration that will soon have a face on it courtesy of Marisa. This was our first time at Hunter Farms and we know why people always tell us to go there...because there is so much to do and see. After the hay ride we played in the giant hay maze in the barn that even had a slide. We chased Marisa through the maze and watched her play with all the other kids (saw a couple of families from school as well). They had food booths set up so we each had a hot dog except for Marisa, she just wanted a bun and the vendor was kind enough to let us buy just that...a bun and put some ketchup on it. Josh couldn't resist purchasing kettle corn before we left as well. We all chomped on that on our almost 1 hour drive home from the bend in the canal where this place is located. It was a cold day, but we had fun and Marisa is already talking about going back next year for another hay ride.
